Synopsis

Embroidering stories and weaving identities, the documentary immortalizes female embroiderers who find ways to give new meaning to their work and life through threads, fabrics and needles.

Process

Screenplay financed by the Fundo de Apoio à Cultura do Distrito Federal (FAC-DF).

Result

We have finished the screenplay and research. We are currently in the financing stage. We have the potential for co-production with Portuguese-speaking countries. This project won the Diaspora Award at DiaLab in 2023 and it has participated in several markets.
